The real point is...NDA are not illegal. Paying off a blackmailer is not illegal. Dividing monies due into payments is not illegal. It's done every day. I do it with my clients.

Technically every NDA that involves a cash payout, entered into for whatever reason, is a “hush money” deal. Having said that my guess is that most NDAs do not involve money transfers.

If a President raped a woman in the WH, he should be arrested and if convicted, impeached and removed. Same for any other citizen, Article 2, section 4 covers that. They are not immune.
