I have been reading people complaining about the length of President Trump's acceptance speech. I, for one, loved it. He started so sober and subdued and I worried that this was our new Trump. But it seemed cathartic (?) for him, as if he worked through it, and then he gained speed. I find him so funny. Everyone else gave scream-and-shout speeches, he didn't need to.

Oh, and I think Melania is somehow more beautiful than 8 years ago. It was probably good for Barron to be away from DC for his high school years, too.

Great post. I was also a little worried in the beginning when he seemed rather subdued. But like you said he gathered steam as he kept going, maybe feeling more comfortable as it felt normal again.
