I guess there’s name calling and there’s name calling. Things like “stone-cold loser” and insults about personal appearance are certainly not necessary.
Would you consider “Crooked Joe” name calling? Or truth telling? He is a criminal. No doubt about it. I would rather he called him Crooked Joe than Sleepy Joe - even though both are factual.
“Crooked Joe” isn’t too bad though it does not help. Attacks on personal appearance, however, are completely losers Every time Trump mocks someone’s personal appearance, especially characteristics that they cannot change, but even things like their weight, loses him a whole group of people who have that characteristic Plus some people who just consider it mean.
I don’t know why he doesn’t understand that. He may think that it’s OK to mock someone for being overweight because he is overweight himself. He is wrong. I am so looking forward to his speech on Thursday, hoping for attacks on Dem policies, but not on anyone’s appearance
