Beau was Attorney General of the state of Delaware, not the U.S. govt. He was on the job when that patriot John Wheeler—West Point, Harvard and Yale grad (when it used to mean something), Vietnam veteran, prominent DC public servant, and the man who organized the funding to build the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington DC—was murdered on December 31, 2010 and dumped in a landfill outside Wilmington, Delaware. The perp has never been found.
After a few weeks, Beau put an end to the investigation. Wheeler had been on a government contract, investigating some U.S. government improprieties. Daddy Joe was Vice President. Hmmm.
There was a large group of freepers who discussed the investigation for months, thread after thread. We may not live to know; but RIP, John. The truth always comes out eventually.
