Nike has become one of the more woke companies under CEO John Donahoe, who succeeded founder Phil Knight. Knight built Nike into the dominant athletic footwear and apparel company in the world. Nike may join Disney as another formerly great American company being run into the ground.

They chose poorly.

If pressed, I will always buy alternative sports wear rather than Nike.

I worked there for 15 years. I all by myself saved them 1 million on a Texas tax audit. They did not care....at all. And after that neither did I.

“... the company said it expected sales to decline in its new fiscal year,...”

They have the Olympics this year, and they think sales will go down.

That sounds pretty bad.

Also, Nike’s are a magnet for looters.
Who wants to carry that in their stores?

Portland has had their eyes on Nike corporate HQ property for 30 years.
I suspect they would be thrilled if the company collapsed and had to sell to developers.
I’ve lived in many places but never in any city as anti business as Portland, OR.
