Kamala’s going nowhere.Congressional Democrats won’t stand for as big a loser as her at the top of their ticket. They will wipe every vestige of her from the ticket. If she wants a future in politics in California taking over Newsom’s governorship when he replaces Biden or a fat administration job if the Dems win, she will shut her mouth and support the ticket. The convention Dems will give Newsom a black VP running mate to shut up black party members who whine about Kamala being shitcanned
I’m honestly surprised they did not have her appointed to be Feinstein’s replacement in the Senate...it could have been spun as a promotion for her by the media - the “big shoes” she was filling and how she was being entrusted with taking on this huge task of trying to follow in Feinstein’s footsteps, with her giving an emotional speech upon the appointment that “no one can replace Dianne Feinstein, but I will do my best to be up to this monumental task of serving in this very important Senate seat”, etc. Nonsense, of course, to go from Veep back to the Senate, but it could have been presented somewhat convincingly with a complicit press. It would have been an out for them.
