I think Jill was genuinely totally elated that Joe was able to get through the debate without falling apart or falling down.

I think Jo Jo hit it out of the park in that he just gave bad answers and looked marginally bad on the podium.

That makes sense. Drugging a dementia patient to try to make them look energetic and coherent has to be risky.

If it wasn't they would have been doing it a lot more the last three years instead of saving it for State of the Union speeches and one-on-one interviews.
