Honestly, Chip’s is not only the morally correct action, but may also be deviously politically savvy. Force the Dems to play their hand now, committing Harris to the seat and heir-apparent to the ticket while also giving the nation a taste of whatever the heck it is she goes on about. How much worse can she be than Biden?
It's best to do that while she's only the Acting President and not the real thing.
