Thomas Friedman: 'Joe Biden is a good President, he must bow out of the race'

The New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman wrote in a special column following the recent Presidential debate that it had been painful to watch.

"Joe Biden is a good man and a good President. He must bow out of the race," Friedman wrote in the headline of his column.

He recounted: "I watched the Biden-Trump debate alone in a Lisbon hotel room, and it made me weep. I cannot remember a more heartbreaking moment in American presidential campaign politics in my lifetime — precisely because of what it revealed: Joe Biden, a good man and a good president, has no business running for re-election."

"The Biden family and political team must gather quickly and have the hardest of conversations with the President, a conversation of love and clarity and resolve. To give America the greatest shot possible of deterring the Trump threat in November, the President has to come forward and declare that he will not be running for re-election and is releasing all of his delegates for the Democratic National Convention," the commentator added.

According to him, "The Republican Party — if its leaders had an ounce of integrity — would demand the same, but it won’t, because they don’t. "

He has been great until now. Right.

This proves the MSM has been lying.

The establishment, including GOP leadership, has been lying. Both the GOP senate and house leaders have said Biden is fine before last night.

This is a truth wrapped in several lies. Joe is a thief, and traitor, an asshole, and the worst president ever. And he is not running the country. So, if he steps down will Kamala let the showy people still run the country? Or does she have her own terrible people.

I picture that fat -—k sitting in Lisbon stuffing his face with overpriced Pudim Abade de Priscos, with the flan running down his face mixing with his tears, as he angrily types with his elbows. DIAF, Friedman. SCHADENFREUDE!

"Joe Biden is a good man and a good President.

Under what rubric is Joe Biden a good man (e.g., deals with Ukraine, China with Hunter) or a good President (e.g., inflation, unemployment, economic growth, etc.)? Few people after almost 50 years of gov't employment can show fewer accomplishments.

Well Trump’s “tax cut for the rich” created “a thousand trillionaires”. So the federal deficit doesn’t seem so big now.

Once the NY Times makes this call, 46 is toast. It's just a matter of negotiating his replacement.

And as I've repeatedly predicted for the last 8 years, Mrs. O will be placed late in the game so she doesn't have to do too much heavy lifting, no pun intended.

Newsome is despised by voters in Calif. He's easy to beat on his record alone. Also, Harris and he are both Californians. So Harris would have to step down, like Agnew did.

This has been planned for a long time. That's why they let 46 carry on making a fool of himself as they ushered in the last phase of Obama's transformation. Biden will be blamed and VJ and the Obama's will campaign on a “clean” record.

A caller to the WLS morning radio show wondered if Illinois governor Pritzker will have a chance to be Biden’s replacement. And he said that a Pritzerker/Harris ticket would be as horrendous as Biden/Harris.

My concern is he’ll occupy the candidacy until we’re too close to the election for any vetting of the alternate candidate. Then, something will happen and he’ll either be dead, brain dead, or withdraw. Then, they’ll put in someone who looks young, energetic, personable and with great hair, which is always a plus.

BTW, has he announced who his running mate will be? Giggles was great as a means of preventing him from being removed. But I’m certain the party wants a viable candidate who doesn’t have to wipe the dirt off her knees.

Blacks have a stranglehold on the Democrat party. With the possible exception of that massive bazillion dollar shakedown called reparations, what they say goes. No way they settle for anything less than Kamala (or Michelle Obama) to replace Joe. And Kamala is even less popular than Joe.

What about Michelle? She is even dumber than Kamala. She’d have to debate Trump, much as Hillary did. Unlike Kamala, she’s never had a real job, and that’s saying something, given Kamala’s run of mostly political sinecures. There’s no way she could survive a debate.

The column was written before the debate even began.

Joe’s own team set him up, at the direction of the Obama cartel.

Gavin thinks he’s the heir apparent, which seems to be the way our betters are betting, but these people are all power mad sharks. This is probably going to be a lot bloodier on the Democrat side than Gavin and his pals are thinking.

Who rides in to save the Democrat bacon?

Big Mike?

Friedman— the MOST self-hating and Israel hating jew there ever was in journalism. Almost like he’s a.... Politburo of the Soviet.... FOUNDER!

Zinoviev lives— believing the GREAT LIE right until Stalin had NKVD put a Makarov to the back of his head and blew his brains out.

Friedman is an appalling road apple on the journalistic road to Utopia.
