Nuggets from the research:

Cannot charge at home: 24%
Me: A group that shouldn't consider buying an EV.

Would like to replace their private vehicle completely with other forms of transport in the next 10 years: 29%
Me: I can't imagine why.

Of respondents who do not have an EV yet, consider a BEV or PHEV as next car: 38%
Me: Think before you do it. It may be that a BEV is good as one of your two cars. But only if you do your homework first.

It is not happening.

US oil consumption 2023 was +0.6%. China was +10% (!). China is the big EV Mecca but oil gets burned anyway.

The world now consumes over 100 million barrels/day.

The question of “how long can this go on” is not a climate question. It is a question of how long will the planet run out — and the wackos about to say it replenishes itself . . . not a single one of you has gone out to buy Plug&Abandon empty oil wells on presumption it has refilled.
