So, "The revised order now allows Trump to speak publicly about witnesses in the case, but keeps in place restrictions on his comments about individual prosecutors and others involved in the case."

Why are prosecutors protected from the First Amendment?

The Manhattan trial is over. The entire gag order should have been lifted. One of the main elements of the First Amendment is the right to criticize our government officials. And oh boy! Do they deserve the criticism!

Merchan already screwed the pooch. He isn’t going to be able to put the toothpaste back in the tube.

This modification is like breaking a window then offering to pay for replacing half of it.

He needs to go after the whole shebang. He’s got an appeal in on this case. He was gagged during the trial, and shouldn’t be forced to be gagged during the appeal process. If this Judge was sure his gag order wasn’t going to be overturned, he wouldn’t have relaxed any part of it.
