I only read the article after my comment, I then saw that part. That part is crazy.

Putin kept trying to negotiate peace but England’s Boris and America’s Biden would not let him. Putin took out infrastructure and said, “Now do you want to negotiate?” He did that over and over.
Putin has said that Zelensky is not legitimately president and that he will no longer negotiate with him. Putin has said he will negotiate with the west. That made sense to me because it is the west Putin is fighting. Brandon knows this, Germany knows this. They are not willing to negotiate. They want WWIII.
I believe thus far the Ukrainian war has drained the EU and US of weapons. Analyst Alexander Mercouris says at this point it no longer benefits Russia to walk away because of the investment of Russian soldiers lives and military hardware, he wouldn’t want to leave a live grenade lying around (not his words, just my metaphor).
As to which side Putin is on, he’s on Russia’s side. He does what benefits Russia and that changes from year to year, administration to administration.
Right now Brandon is expending Ukrainian lives and American tax payer dollars like water to fight this proxy war and hide the American crime hub in the Ukraine. Putin has no reason to support Brandon at this point.
Russia is not above influencing elections. I believe he probably supported Hillary during the 2016 election. He seemed stunned when he finally met Trump, saying Trump was not like he is portrayed in the media. Putin said Trump was insightful among other things. The two men talked longer than expected, probably at the G7, to the point that Melania was dispatched to invite them to dinner, but they remained.

That could change Putin’s attitude toward Trump, but only if it benefited Russia. Putin had promises from Obama and Hillary was his extension, so Putin would support a Hilary candidacy.
But then he met Trump.Whatever benefits Putin from day to day is what he will support. The same can be said about Trump, but with a more Judeo Christian restraint.
