“Will Jamaal Bowman survive in New York? After his vulgar display over the weekend (with fellow communist AOC), I would love to see him lose.”

Yes, I think he’s going down.

From NY times election reporting:

Polls have closed in New York, where an acrimonious House primary race testing the Democratic Party’s views on Israel and the durability of its progressive faction was a focal point among elections held across several states on Tuesday.

In that race, in New York’s 16th Congressional District, Jamaal Bowman, a left-wing incumbent who has been one of the House’s more outspoken critics of Israel, is trying to repel a challenge from George Latimer, a pro-Israel Democrat who has portrayed his opponent as distracted by national politics. Mr. Bowman has consistently accused Mr. Latimer of racism.

As expected, early results reported from the Bronx have given Jamaal Bowman an apparent early lead of nearly 60 points. Westchester County is slower to report, but once it does, those numbers are likely to push George Latimer ahead.
