India trash isn’t in my trees and fiels. The damn plastic bags are. Those blow everywhere ,confuse and trap animals and birds, and don’t degrade like paper.
Oh please, the amount of plastic generated by the US is miniscule compared to China, India, and Africa.
We have some of the strictest environmental laws on Earth.
So I guess roadside trash adds something special to the natural beauty of trees, grasses, and flowers.
Balloon releases are a weird way of memoralizing.
Don’t be silly. You know what I mean.
What am I missing...it looks like the FL statute on balloon releases goes back to 2012 at least...maybe further:

If you’re trying to equate indoor balloon releases with outdoor ones, you apparently don’t understand the difference.
Florida is a generally nice state with good policies, but this is a bit over the top, IMHO. Of course, being from Texas, I am accustomed to all kinds of things being flung into the air: fireworks (even when it’s bone-dry and every county forbids the practice), model rockets (ditto regarding dry times), bullets, literal rockets with payloads of dozens of tons, small cars flung by trebuchets, muffled choppers flying at night with half a dozen guys shooting pigs with suppressed, night vision rifles (or mini-guns firing quite a number of incendiary tracers, depending on how much they want to spend), etc. No limits except one’s imagination.
Here's Ron at one of his helium balloon parties.
The principle is the same.
Littering.
