I understand that some slaves were also owned by other Black Americans and Native Indian tribes....doesn’t that cause a problem as to reparations too? Dunno...all I know is my European ancestry came after the Civil War and were dirt poor for the next 100 years....so, where do we get our reparations from? Or?

A lot of American Indians were sold into slavery as well, and shipped off to the East Indies.
And quite a few of those were sold into slavery to the whites by Indians if a different tribe. Chickasaws sold Choctaws into slavery, for example. Choctaws often owned blacks.
And Shawnees sold whites to both the French and English at different times.
At this time, due to immigration of Somalis, Kenyans, etc., I think there are now more American blacks who arrived here AFTER slavery was ended.

Oh my, it could be a bit difficult to sort out.
