Sounds like LiveAid in the 80’s. All those rock stars coming together. Sure made us feel good about ourselves at least for a little while.
Everybody but my guys Waylon and Ray Charles. Boy Wonder wanted the celebs to sing in Swahili. Waylon told him to take a flying leap and Ray Charles reminded Wonder that it was three a.m. in the morning and he couldn’t even sing in English. The Ethiopian women who were invited to watch them sing complained they didn’t even know what the Swahili crap was all about. They reminded the Wonder kid that they were Ethiopians, not Swahili. LOL.
