On the contrary, Upstate NY was quite prosperous are one point. The Erie Canal played a huge role in that.

Neither was I but having lived in Upstate for 60 years or so, I saw all the indications of the prosperity of that era in all the canal towns and know about many of the big name businesses and companies which used to be based in NY and moved out because of taxes and draconian, oppressive regulation by the state.

I live in New York unfortunately, and this bitch Hochul was installed, I have no doubt. NYS is as corrupt as it gets especially when it comes to elections, and Lee Zeldin made a big mistake when he said he would fire Alvin Bragg on day one if he were elected. The domestic enemies needed Bragg to go after Trump so they fixed the election to keep this Hillary clone in office.
