We can no longer fight fires or control flooding. Our culture and property is destroyed. We are the natives now. This is our homes and COMMUNITY. MORE harm than any good is being done with this ridiculous notion of returning property back to"nature"! Nothing from the past is being saved!
RURAL LIVES MATTER TOO!
Property rights ping
would be portland being wiped out and flushed to the ocean in the first major flood.
.
Don’t hear too much about her. I remember her under consideration for the VP. Nothing since suggests she wanted a higher profile.
She is not running for reelection. I do not know why.
Portland isn’t really on the Columbia proper. It’s the Willamette river that bisects that fetid s hole.
i stand corrected.
it will still flood.
and as a bonus salem will flood too.
“We can no longer fight fires or control flooding. Our culture and property is destroyed. We are the natives now”
I like that, rural lives matter!
And that’s true, the people they call the natives took over the land from whoever was there before. If they really want natives, they need to go back to the very beginning. But I’m sure that information has been lost with each subsequent takeover. It’s not like the indians, yes I’m using that word, were all peaceful with each other.
It’s okay to use the word Indian.. that’s what the Cherokee called themselves.
What was done to them is no different than what is being done to us.

I did something wrong, I thought I was clicking to read the first chapter and now it wants me to name my blog. Sounds like a really interesting book, anymore I don’t buy history books until I make sure they are honest/ accurate
Grrrr ... Blogspot is owned by Google... it’s always messing with that site and my blog.. I’ll get it fixed! No computer at the moment just a little phone. No books for sale, they all burned in the Almeda fire so I put it on line for free.
It’s real history from the natives own words.
Let me know when or how I should look for it again. Thanks for doing that. Making it available.
Thank you, I will. I apologize. I’ve bought 2 computers but can’t make them work. I’m isolated out in the boobies since the fire with horrible reception. Please remind me if I forget
... My brain is going Biden!
Ugh
PS
An unpleasant thought for you...
The Cherokee had a constitution like ours. Tyrant Chief John Ross declared an emergency over removal, cancelled elections and held power for 40 yrs.
she’s my rep and has been a good little go along mostly...nothing outstanding...no leadership...and just like rats jumping ship, she is not running again and since the real rats have captured our state, we will probably never see another pub elected in her position every again....
“... My brain is going Biden!”
Oh no, so is mine. But I don’t like to think of it in those terms! At least we’re not trying to run a country.

And we aren’t lifelong grifters and liars like Joe, so we have that going for us. We respect our country too much to burden it with our afflictions like he does.
50 years ago I was in a car accident, split my head open among other injuries. As I age and the stress of living in 8 places in a 6 month period of hell, I am acting like I was right after the accident. It’s terrifying. I could get away with more defects when I was younger and cute and funny. That’s gone! Lol
Sometimes I look at Coyote Joe and almost feel sorry for him..... almost.....
Did you move often because of the fire? Eight places in 6 months, that sounds exhausting. I hope you are settled now.
I could cover up my bad memory when I was younger, now I just say it’s because of age. But I’ve always had a bad memory, now, knowing what I know, I attribute it to cptsd from an abusive childhood. There’s been a lot more research done than there was when I was growing up, so it is finally nice to have an explanation. Not that it helps. It is what it is.
When I see Joe searching for words I could almost feel sorry for him, I have a lot of empathy but most of it goes to animals. Then I remember who he is and what he has done and I think it’s more like justice.
