It is a Constitutional crisis between two equal branches; the Congress and the Executive. It has to be resolved maybe at the highest court.
Can’t escape the irony that they exert executive privilege for refusing to comply while locking up Bannon and Navarro for exercising the same privilege. Which is probably even more valid as the POTUS can exert privilege over advice and counsel. Can the DOJ use its discretion not to prosecute itself? Especially as Jordan says, it already waived privilege.
But that isn’t the point. The point is to bury the tape at least until after the election. On that front they already won.
