Russia may consider amending nuclear deterrence policy, Russian President Vladimir Putin warned.

According to Putin, this matter became a subject of debate in light of the recent discussions in the world on lowering the threshold of nuclear weapon use.

At the same time, the Russian president noted that Russia has no need [of] an ability to launch a preemptive nuclear strike.

A preemptive nuclear strike by either side is madness, total insanity, and would produce the end of everything. I hope the warmongers on both sides wake up before it’s too late.

Most of putin’s moves recently and statements like this are a clear sign he doesn’t want conflict with NATO . I can’t say the same about NATO. Western leftists want a war, I believe, as they think it will somehow solve their economic issues. A real mess is coming.
