To be eliminated are schools named for Christopher Columbus, Melville Fuller (former Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court from Chicago) and President James Monroe.
Columbus is to be renamed for Ruth Bader Ginsberg. Fuller for an obscure civil rights activist, and Monrow for the immediate neighborhood.
Maybe they could ask Liberia to rename it’s capital, as it was named after James Monroe as well.
Name ‘em after Biden. It fits.
Three to be renamed.

Third world cities honor crazy leftists—all over the world.
Liberals: “Good. If you teach them to read, write, and do arithmetic, they might figure out how to escape our plantation. If you teach them history, they might see that things may change and improve over time. So let’s not teach them any of this, so they will remain on the bottom rung of the economic and social ladder forever! Oh, yes, and they will vote for us forever.”
NO name changes!
Give the schools competent teachers instead!!
Old Stan Freberg comedy album skit ended with the “Indians” saying they were the ones who discovered the Christopher Columbus settlers arriving at the beach and then made a deal to sell the land.
“Let me go to the bank and get the money.”
“You can’t. Banks are closed. Columbus Day.”
Christopher Columbus - eff Italians
Melville Fuller - eff people from Chicago that made something of themselves, unless they’re politically correct. Ginsburg was from New York City, from effing Chicago.
Monroe - as president, Monroe signed the Compromise of 1820 that banned slavery north of Missouri. Possibly, that was the reason a school in Chicago was named for this person from Virginia. But, banning slavery in certain territories wasn’t good enough for Chicago. Chicago demands reparations.
We need to seceded from Chicago and build a big beautiful wall around it.
Columbus is probably routinely slandered in the school formerly bearing his name.
The first natives he encountered were fleeing slaves.
Hey stupid people. Countries, states and cities that don’t learn from the mistakes made in history are doomed to repeat them over and over again.
If weβre going to rename schools named after Columbus, Iβm waiting for Columbia University in New York to be renamed as well.
Columbus is probably routinely slandered in the school formerly bearing his name.
The first natives he encountered were fleeing slaves that he assisted.
Name one Mau Mau High.
Another: George Floyd Junior High.
Isn't there a college in Chicago named in honor of Malcolm X, who had no ties to Chicago as far as I know (born in Nebraska, grew up in Michigan, later lived in Boston and New York City)?
A community college that was plagued by scandals. It had to be rebuilt after forty years of service as it was trashed.
Meanwhile, anyone wondering what the YWCA is up to these days?

....”..Columbia: poetic name for United States of America, earlier for the British colonies there, 1730s, also the nation’s female personification, from name of Christopher Columbus (also see Colombia) with Latin “country” ending -ia.. A popular name for places and institutions in the U.S. in the post-Revolutionary years....”
