As for Biden getting into the ‘Beast’, I thought I saw an extra step slide out as Biden was trying to get into it. The problem isn’t that Biden has trouble getting into cars. FDR wasn’t good at that, but his brain was still functioning until pretty much the end. Biden’s brain isn’t all there.

The vehicle isn’t that high, just high enough to make entry and exit a bit tough without them. Those running boards make it a LOT easier to get in and out. The trick is remembering which foot to put on the running board.
