As supporters of former President Donald Trump anxiously await his selection for a vice presidential running mate, online sleuths have unearthed evidence of a website domain that may indicate his choice is already made.
Users of X on Thursday located a URL tying the former president to Doug Burgum, the popular governor of North Dakota and former Republican presidential candidate who self-funded his run before it came to an end late last year. The friendly, earnest midwestern governor has won plaudits for packaging the MAGA brand in a style that allies of Trump say will appeal to key voters he could struggle to win over in November, including suburban women. Philip Reichert with the American Conservation Coalition was the first to discover that www.trumpburgum.com is up and running and redirects to President Trump’s main campaign page.

Yes, very easy. I registered some websites in past years, it’s like winning the lottery if the combination or phrase is correct. And you can point them anywhere, for good or bad.

I actually knew a right leaning couple who voted for Obama because of the Palin pick. I was dumbfounded, because I knew they didn’t like Obama. We would discuss the election often, so, after the election, when they told me, I was really irked. But they just didn’t like Palin for some reason. Whether or not there were a significant number of voters who thought like them, I don’t know.
Actually, I tried to look up TrumpVance.com on WhoIs and the domain does exist. It just doesn't have a landing page.

I think Trump reaches the women he is going to reach. There are many women that will just never vote for him. And bringing a woman onto the ticket will not change that.
But, a black or hispanic, man or woman. I think is a better look and could pull more of those demographics.
But unlike Kamala, I would expect Trump to pick a top tier 100% qualified kick ass candidate, 100% maga that just happened to be a minority.

Well, you can’t blame Trump for that. He is usually kind to those in his own party who have dissed him somewhere in the past.
Bashing Trump at this point only helps Biden. A few around here have issues and some butthurt lingering after the primaries.
There are plenty of #nevertrump and Trump hater sites for those who still have issues to share their venom.
Trump is the GOP candidate. At this point, Biden is the RAT candidate. Pick one or stay home and whine.

Absolutely right. He needs every vote he can get and needs someone who can help to sway voters away from Dems.
Quite frankly, Trump is not that good at picking people so that’s a concern. This is a must win race; its for all the marbles. His choice is a defining one IMO.

I started believing it was going to be Burgum when Trump said on social media his VP candidate was going to have their private airliner just like Trump, but called “Trump Force Two” (Trump calls his own private airliner “Trump Force One” as a a reference to Air Force One which is the official plane of the President). Only billionaires can afford their private airliner (100x more expensive than a private “jet”).
