As supporters of former President Donald Trump anxiously await his selection for a vice presidential running mate, online sleuths have unearthed evidence of a website domain that may indicate his choice is already made.
Users of X on Thursday located a URL tying the former president to Doug Burgum, the popular governor of North Dakota and former Republican presidential candidate who self-funded his run before it came to an end late last year. The friendly, earnest midwestern governor has won plaudits for packaging the MAGA brand in a style that allies of Trump say will appeal to key voters he could struggle to win over in November, including suburban women. Philip Reichert with the American Conservation Coalition was the first to discover that www.trumpburgum.com is up and running and redirects to President Trump’s main campaign page.

Good spot - it take nearly nothing to do these kinds of domain games.
I understand the incremental approach you are describing, however, you have to pick your battles.
Banning bumpstocks didn’t infringe upon my right to keep & bear arms. I don’t own one, and probably will never need to own one.
I will make my stand at the banning of semi-auto firearms, common caliber ammo, and ability to obtain both.
Glock switches and bumpstocks are fun to have, but not the hill to die on, imo.
“www.trumpburgum.com is up and running and redirects to President Trump’s main campaign page.”
so, if i make a website called www.trumpcatnipman.com and point the domain to Trump’s main campaign page, does that move me to the top of Trump’s VP list?
The problem last time was the Trump did not fire all eligible-to-fire appointees. Heck, he even kept some of the White House staff. Trump 2.0 should set up a jobs website and begin soliciting people, screening them, and having them ready on day one. I just did a quick search and several sites say that there are around 4,000 political appointees, 2,200 do not require congressional approval and 1,800 do. That’s 2,200 shovel-ready jobs on day one.
Nope, doesn’t make sense. What can he bring to the ticket?
I actually worked with him on a campus newspaper in a previous life.
What was your impression of him?
Nice fellow and good at connecting with people on at least a superficial basis. My mother worked for his mother on the same campus, so I wouldn’t say he was your commoner/everyman sort of guy.
Pence had no respect for MAGA voters he was a swamp creature too long. He had no spine just like Biden, Pence was a democrat puppet.
