As supporters of former President Donald Trump anxiously await his selection for a vice presidential running mate, online sleuths have unearthed evidence of a website domain that may indicate his choice is already made.
Users of X on Thursday located a URL tying the former president to Doug Burgum, the popular governor of North Dakota and former Republican presidential candidate who self-funded his run before it came to an end late last year. The friendly, earnest midwestern governor has won plaudits for packaging the MAGA brand in a style that allies of Trump say will appeal to key voters he could struggle to win over in November, including suburban women. Philip Reichert with the American Conservation Coalition was the first to discover that www.trumpburgum.com is up and running and redirects to President Trump’s main campaign page.

TRUMP HAD NO IDEA HOW BIG AND DEEP THE SWAMP IS!! HE’S WISE TO THEM NOW!
BINGO!
Adds nothing to the ticket: an old white male from an electorally inconsequential state. To the extent he’s a successful businessman, that’s a redundancy based on the top of the ticket.
There must be a dozen younger women in Congress to choose from.
Having faith is also a verb. 😊
“Quite frankly, Trump is not that good at picking people so that’s a concern.”
Was The Apprentice just a TV show?!?!
me too
The Swamp is always changing. Never get too comfortable in DC. Everyone is backstabbing scum.
no, that’s belief. You can have faith but walk in unbelief
“The only reason I voted for McCain/Palin was hopes that McCain would die in office.”
I think a lot of us felt the same way; I know I did.
Looks like that is where the speculator is located....
“Sarah Huckabee Sanders would be a good pick, and for those that want loyalty, she’s a great role model for that.”
The day she and her administration pull out The Clinton Body Count and start making arrests in AR, I have no use for her.
There’s nobody in the USA who is in such a great position to fight lawfare with lawfare, and THAT would indicate loyalty to MAGA. Sashaying around the Governor’s Mansion isn’t good enough.
“But they just didn’t like Palin for some reason.”
75% chance that the reason is jealousy on the part of the wife. A lot of women don’t like women who are more beautiful and/or more successful than they are.
Without Palin, McCain would have lost 48 states.

“I was one of not many who knew she was VP the night before it was announced.”
I remember that — all of us on FR watching a FReeper (can’t recall who) report on the flight pattern of the plane from Anchorage to (I think) Phoenix. SO EXCITING!
That may very well have been the reason that the wife didn’t like Palin. In fact, I think it’s likely. But her husband disliked Palin as much as she did. The reason they gave me was that they thought she was dumb. That doesn’t mean that that was the real reason. And I can tell you with confidence that Palin is a hell of a lot smarter than they were.
I understand the point, but given the vipers’ nest of two-faced traitors who tried to undermine Trump’s agenda at every turn last time, the #1 priority needs to be rock solid loyalty. If we get more Pences and Barrs again this will all be for naught.
