And I think that’s, in part, why prep is necessary. Tighten the answers and add in numbers.

A Couple of decades ago Maryland had a gubernatorial election between Martin O’Malley, mayor of failing Baltimores city, and re-election of Robert Ehrlich Republican. They had two debates recorded in consecutive days, but aired on PBS in reverse order. Why, I do not know

Ehrlich, who was a decent governof prided himself on “what you see is what you get “. It was obvious he had not prepared for the debate. His opening statement was rambling. Lefty O’Malley‘s opening statement was crisp and full of data even if it wasn’t true, I remember so clearly that O’Malley claimed that eight of the 10 best high schools in Maryland were in Baltimore city. What he did not say was that almost all of them were very expensive private schools. Ehrlich just let it. go.

O’Malley’s entire campaign was built on one word “believe”. No Dem ever said what to believe in or what he believed Democrats are sneaky smart, though evil.

This can simply not happen for Trump… I pray
