that’s because it wasn’t the UN fighting the war..it was the US, who told all it’s people we are fighting commies.
The north invaded, South Korea was down to a very territory, US, South Koreans and allied nations fought them back all the way to Chinese border, Chinese invaded with hundreds of thousand of fighters and the war ended basically at the borders that the war started at.
