I followed this all evening and I could not find an honest answer...
Call me a Conspiratory nut case, BUT, all night long McGuire was ahead...all of a sudden the numbers FROZE.
I knew at that moment that something was wrong.
NOW, all of a sudden it’s a TIE.
I’m not buying it. McGuire had better come out the winner or I will personally SUE everybody in Northern Virginia.
Low turn out at my precinct. Not a lot of interest. Lots of Bob Goode signs in my area. Lots of folks that I talked to were tired of the nonstop negativity from the McGuire camp. He was still my vote, but I think there were lots of folks that switched in the past month.

The 5th district includes the majority of Southside Virginia. Within the district are the cities of Charlottesville, Danville, and Lynchburg. Borders North Carolina.
