Putin arrives in North Korea for first the time in 24 years

Putin, making his first trip to North Korea in 24 years, said in comments that appeared in its state media hours before he landed that he appreciates the country’s firm support of his military actions in Ukraine. The Kremlin launched a full-scale invasion of the neighboring country in 2022.

He said the countries would continue to “resolutely oppose” what he described as Western ambitions “to hinder the establishment of a multipolar world order based on justice, mutual respect for sovereignty, considering each other’s interests.”

In the North Korean capital of Pyongyang, the streets were decorated with portraits of Putin and Russian flags. A banner on a building said: “We warmly welcome the President of the Russian Federation.”

Putin also said in his published remarks that Russia and North Korea will develop trade and payment systems “that are not controlled by the West” and jointly oppose sanctions against the countries, which he described as “illegal, unilateral restrictions.”

Putin: Hey, I told you guys I’d keep in touch. Let’s go grab a couple of overstuffed armchairs and you can get me caught up.

Or... Is it one of his doubles???

Leaving the country could have negative consequences... Good to keep them guessing?

When you sanction your perceived enemy to extremes, don’t be surprised when they get closer to your real enemies.

The stupid, confrontational policy of the US towards Russia is driving Russia right into the arms of US enemies. Its a strategy that will backfire spectacularly one day.

That day is the day our own oil supplies can’t keep up with our consumption.

Theirs will run short last. The five words that define the future.

The world consumes 100 million barrels/day. It produces 100 million barrels/day. I can assure you a day will arrive when the second sentence does not match the first. Africa’s population growth remains strong and with it, growth in oil consumption.

Putin will look around and he’ll react like the Norks did when that black GI sought asylum there.

Btw-that G.I. should serve out his enlistment in an African $hithole country collecting a private’s pay. He’ll appreciate us more just like the basketball player who went into Russia with her bong.

Western ambitions “to hinder the establishment of a multipolar world order based on justice, mutual respect for sovereignty, considering each other’s interests.”

Cute statement when the wannabe pole you're visiting is an odd little 1950s Stalinist cult/mafia prison state.

In the Bush era legitimate sanctions were agreed to on NK at the UN. That policy is completely dead. Unlikely to get anything through the UN again. Completely destroyed with one Biden administration.

There would not be a North Korea if the Russians had not been given half of Korea as an occupation zone in 1945 (for entering the war against Japan a few days before Japan surrendered).

If Pooty were to meet with an "accident" while he was there, it would eliminate some problems and the NORKs would be toast, but unfortunately the CIA is too busy planning things against Trump.

The U.S. military currently has over 15,000 trans, the tip of the spear, should we start WW3.
