Sounds like the article is contradicting itself. Apparently not a done deal at this point.
Sooooo...how long before Russia invades Armenia?
Armenia was warned about sucking up the Neocons...what comes next is quite OBVIOUS.
Russia needs to trade with Turkey. Turkey refuses to sanction Russia. But they will do that if Russia helps Armenia in their war against Azerbaijan.
“We will leave,” Pashinyan said. “We will decide when to leave. We won’t come back, there is no other way.”
Russia has important military bases in Armenia based on agreements renewed in 2010, with options to extend through 2060. These bases are critical to threaten/oppose NATO/Turkish forces on Armenia’s border, and prevent a NATO land bridge to Georgia, Azerbaijan and the Caspian.
They will most likely, agitate and arm “separatists” who will ask Russia to help them. Since the old frozen conflict with Azerbaijan was ended, Russia will start a new one. This time it will be wholly inside contiguous Armenia, with the focus of taking territory from Armenia.
One does not simply leave the Russian orbit. Ask Ukraine, Georgia, and Moldova...
$hit. Who’s the bad guy here? I know what the Ottomans did. They need Vlad’s protection?
Russia had promised to defend its ally Armenia if invaded by Azerbaijan. They were invaded and the cowardly Russians didn’t fulfill their obligations. You’re blaming this on NeoCons? Lmao.
Russia will do this with which army exactly?
ZEEPER FOLLIES PINGLIST!!

“Russia had promised to defend its ally Armenia if invaded by Azerbaijan. They were invaded.”
You’re clueless as to recent events in Armenia. Best if you stay in your lane.
Thank you for the background information. I wonder if Putin can handle two wars at the same time.
I don’t know why but something is changing in that area.
Well, you can’t fix stupid, and the Armenian leader seems to have cornered the market on that.
“Well, you can’t fix stupid, and the Armenian leader seems to have cornered the market on that.”
Suicidal, I guess. At least in Georgia, the leaders there finally seem to understand what the Neocons are trying to do to them also.
The dirty dozen zeeper monsters of FR! Ukrainian propaganda is their profession.

Can you point to any evidence that there’s a neocon anywhere in sight in Armenia? It’s essentially Russian-occupied territory.

Plenty of NGOs operating there, just like Georgia.
Name a couple for us.
