Most Americans are locked into the two-party mentality though. So much so that when a REALLY serious candidate presents themself, they can't see past their partisanship to vote for that candidate.
We are held hostage by a majority who lack vision.

Perot had appeal and was right on NAFTA but his Perot Systems business (after EDS) made his millions off of gov contracts, -he was pissed at Bush when he was governor for spurning contract offers and then tried to get him to go to work with Perot.
