Since we were talking about JFK and Clinton, you were defending the behavior, I could have said you were defending JFK’s behavior like asking his teen lover to fellate his buddy while JFK was there and they were at the White house pool, or having girlfriends get abortions, or asking badge wearing federal employees to procure him hookers but I used Clinton because he was more recent.

The Federal Reserve is part of the federal government. There is a silly line of reasoning to the effect that because there is a provision for nominal stock and a buy in to become a member bank, it must be a private corporation. It is not. The stock provision is simply a way of crediting the membership charge on the books of the Fed instead of as a fee or tax to the credit of the US Treasury and available to pay other debts.
