LA is also one of the crime ridden cities that doesn’t report its numbers to the federal database. Crime is not decreasing. The data is being purposely corrupted.

DC mayor Marion Barry was upset with his city being termed the nation’s Murder Capital. He called in the police chief and asked where the FBI’s data came from. The police reported it to the FBI. On the spot, he changed the definition of what could be called a murder. Amazingly, he was successful in substantially dropping the city’s murder rate. A big political plus.
