On Friday, Russia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs hosted a seminal meeting headed by the head of state, where the Russian president outlined the historical background for the country’s foreign policy vectors in a conversation with senior Russian diplomats. Read the full text below.
Dear colleagues, good afternoon!
I am pleased to welcome you all, and at the beginning of our meeting, I want to thank you for your dedicated work in the interest of Russia and our people.
In this broad assembly, we last met in November 2021. Since then, many pivotal and, without exaggeration, fateful events have occurred both in our country and in the world. Therefore, I consider it important to assess the current situation in global and regional affairs and to set corresponding tasks for the foreign policy department. All these tasks are directed towards the primary goal: creating conditions for the sustainable development of the country, ensuring its security, and improving the well-being of Russian families.
Working in this direction in today's challenging and rapidly changing realities requires all of us to concentrate even more on our efforts, initiative, and persistence. It demands the ability not only to respond to current challenges but also to shape our own long-term agenda, to propose and discuss with partners, within the framework of open and constructive dialogue, solutions to fundamental issues that concern not only us but also the entire global community.

Thanks for posting.
Bookmark - only got through part of it, but this clearly doesn’t sound like someone who’s looking to invade Europe. It sounds like he’s saying in a nutshell:” sign on with us and let’s work together to take care of that big problem on the other side of the globe.”

LOL, so you believe Putin now? Why would anyone believe a proven liar?
Did you believe Putin in 2003 when he personally signed the “Treaty Between the Russian Federation and Ukraine on the Russian–Ukrainian State Border”? It set Ukraine’s borders as they were in 1991 & was lodged with the UN.
Did you believe Putin in 2014 when he was asked directly whether Russian troops were blockading Ukrainian soldiers inside their bases on the peninsula? Despite the clear evidence of Russian soldiers' role in these blockades over the previous days, Putin replied: "Those were local self-defense units."
Did you believe Putin in 2022 when he said there were no plans to invade Ukraine?
I suspect part of the reason for the bad press around Putin is because he is a nationalist who does not want Russia consumed by the woke, borderless culture NWO espoused by the west. His policies promote merit, marriage, children. No drag queen story time nor transgender pride in Russia.
