Growing up in the aftermath of carnage and genocide of the 20th Century people of good faith asked , “How could this have happened”
These day I totally understand exactly how it happened because we are seeing history repeat itself.
Living in Germany from 1969 (just 24 years after the end of World War II) to 1972 and making a pilgrimage to the horrifying Dachau "camp", I struggled to understand. I couldn't. The Germans I knew were lovely people.
Today I understand. I also see lovely people in America going down the same, horrifying path.
We can scream warnings, but nothing can reach ears deafened by denial and minds willingly brainwashed.
Note tagline, but do not expect the willingly deafened, blinded, and brainwashed to grasp the terrifying reality. If they were capable of learning, they would not have to be told, at least not more than once.
