I’m talking about when it reaches the point when Jews are being beaten, and worse, in public places. Maybe it won’t get to that point. 4 more years of a democrat president and the odds get a lot better that it will. 1930s Germany becomes a more likely proposition in that scenario.
To these people a Jew is a Zionist. If you look like a Jew you then must be one. Rip off the mask and laugh? Tell that to the guy getting stomped by a group of thugs.
Exactly, it’s not as if the Nazis cared if a Jew was a Zionist or not.
If it comes down to 1930s Germany, at that point the Jew being beaten on a subway train would not be on the subway train, because he would know to expect a beating, and even if he was, his politics would be against those in government who are tacitly sanctioning his beating, not some abstract BS concepts like DEI, even if he ever was for that.
In NYC, there has ever been a political divide between well-off assimilationist Jews, who are hugely Democrat, and orthodox, subway-riding Jews, who are hugely Republican and pro-Trump and loved Giuliani when he was mayor. The latter would be the ones getting beaten in your scenario, so you need not hesitate to defend them.
