Mixed feelings about this. Yes, shall not be infringed, but like speech, you cannot randomly yell fire in a crowded theatre. Maybe we are due for a complete reset of the Second Amendment--all federal, state, and local laws that infringe it are null and void.

But thereafter, what is reasonable? A truly mentally ill person shouldn't be allowed firearms but that needs careful oversight and due process. A convicted violent criminal shouldn't either. Maybe the solution on the latter is that they should have been executed or in jail for life, thus removing the issue. Someone charged with a violent crime and released on bail? Okay, keep them in jail.

Yes, you can yell fire in a theatre, but, you have to pay the penalty, for that action alone and/or if anyone gets hurt. However, you do not lose the 1st Amendment right, to continue to say fire or for that matter, speak at all, because of that.
