It’s never been tested now that they’re part of a joint ticket. Wisdom suggests that, if Trump has Rubio or Donalds as his Veep, Democrats will try to invalidate Florida’s Electoral College count.

But Democrats could invalidate Florida Electoral College Delegates, but only for either Trump or his VP....not for both.

Democrats could invalidate Florida Electoral College Delegates, but only for either Trump or his VP....not for both.

I believe the Electors still provide separate votes for each, so there is nothing to invalidate as long as the Electors don't vote for both Trump and Rubio.

But with Florida's 29 EV, in a close election it could create a split Trump/Harris administration if Rubio is on the ticket.
