Hunter Biden trial verdict: President's son found GUILTY of all charges at federal gun trial
Daily Mail UK ^ | June 11, 2024 | Josh Boswell

Hunter Biden has been found guilty of three felonies today in his Delaware gun crimes trial.

The Wilmington, Delaware jury unanimously voted to convict Joe Biden ’s son of two counts of lying on a federal form to buy a gun, and one count of possessing the firearm while abusing drugs.

The historic conviction marks the first time a current President’s child has been found guilty of a felony.

He will now await Judge Maryellen Noreika to decide on a sentence for the crimes, which could be as high as 25 years in prison and a $250,000 fine – though the typical sentence is much lower.

Follow all the updates from our reporters in court in Wilmington, Delaware, and our team covering the biggest stories in Washington D.C.

> Kamala will pardon him.

This is far more likely.

If they run Harris, I don’t see how they avoid a slaughter. Does she have any base of her own? They can’t possibly cheat enough to close the gap.

They almost got away with it during Hunter last trial DOJ was willing to give Hunter a perpetual get out of jail card that would last his lifetime. Weiss had to go for the jugular on this one because it was the same judge.

It was a libtard sham job to keep Humper the criminal from facing any other future charges but they got caught scamming the justice system

Newsom wouldn’t perform much better than Harris, and he doesn’t have the VP advantage of officially being next in line.

That might be a tough position for Kamala to take. Pardoning the entitled White boy, when so many colored people are incarcerated?
I’m not sure she would. I think she hates Joe and his family almost as much as we do.

Honestly no lib I’ve read on social media is upset at all.

Which leads me to believe that Hunter is the sacrificial lamb to trigger over-enforcement of existing gun laws as well as new assaults on the 2nd amendment. It’s no coincidence that Biden Sr gave a speech about guns on the SAME DAY as his son’s gun conviction. Suspect as hell!

No argument from me. Totally unnecessary - reminds me of the trip obozos took to HI and back to DC and then back to HI before the vacation was over and of course, then back to DC. I don’t remember the time or reason but that was just plain dumb...

Remember obozo would log some WH business for the trips they took so they would look legit and not personal!!

Well, I look at it as an either/or…. either we tell the truth on it, or not.

I know the leftists want our guns and will do practically anything to get them. I’m in Illinois. Our governor and the democrat majority are trying hard to get our ARs. Pritzger is as bad, if not worse than Biden. We have an F.O.I.D. card. Quite honestly, I was shocked when Concealed Carry was legalized here. The politicians knew if they didn’t, they would get booted out of office. They’re taking advantage of it, they mandated stiff fees for permits, and they have a database that they will be able to access when they decide to come and get them. To me, lying on a federal form would be like skating on very thin ice.

“Sorry Beau, uh, Hunter. You’re going to have to take one for the team. Now the Republicans can’t say we control court decisions.”

Exactly

i don’t like this at all because I know it’s complete BS, they are pulling a fast one on the public “Look we are fair and balanced” and you know what’s going to happen? Biden pardons Hunter and Trump gets sent to prison

Were any of the Bidens speaking to the press about the judge, jurors, attorneys, court clerks, or their families?

What, are you now going to argue a State Governor doesn’t have pardon powers?

Most do, some don't. It varies widely by state. Few have nearly as broad pardon power as the President does.

In Georgia for instance, the governor has no pardon power. Under the state constitution, before a pardon can even be considered, a convicted felon must serve his entire sentence. Then any pardon can only be granted by the Georgia State Board of Pardons and Paroles.

Gregg Abbott needed to get approval from the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles to pardon Daniel Perry.
