The cardinal rules of firearm safety is never operate under the influence, period. The primary rule of immediate safety is that every (EVERY) firearm is loaded (eliminates guesswork as regards the pointing of a weapon and pulling the trigger at anything, but particularly people and pets.
In my fantasy world,the Republican judge says secretly to the defense that Hunter can get 25 years or slap on the rist depending on the Trump sentence. Maybe both could do community service. Yes,it sounds stupid but stupid is this justice system.

My Methican neighbor’s stepson lied on a gun permit, and he was sentenced to 5 years in prison and 3 years’ probation.
But he was a Methican and a Baptist.

Biden said he wouldn’t pardon Hunter. Of course he lies about everything, so he will probably pardon him on Nov. 6. Or maybe commute his sentence so he just has to pay some money (like GWB and Scooter Libby).
