As a motorcycle rider I know all about how slick those painted pavement stripes can get when it rains. For some reason the reverence for that flag on some people’s part reminds me of another time in history when all were compelled to worship another flag..one with a curious cross like design.

As a motorcycle rider I know all about how slick those painted pavement stripes can get when it rains That was my first thought when I read the article. Also what about oil and other fluid leaks damaging the mural? My take it should be on a wall or a advertising sign, not on the roadway..
