The problem up there is all the local media is liberal/progressive/socialist. All I ever here from family members in Duluth is, “I’d vote for Trump if it wasn’t for the mean tweets.” I get sick of it every time we visit. A lot of the old timers up there don’t even use twitter. They just watch CNN and NPR.
I doubt those electric boats will be popular in Minnesota.
In 2016, he made 5 campaign stops just days before the election, his 3rd stop that day was to see me in PA and then he was to go to WI, but earlier that day their analysts thought the numbers looked better for MN than WI, so they switched to MN instead. We know the rest. Not taking anything away from Trump, but I beleived he was as suprised to win as the left was. His analysts did a wonderful job, but its so hard to predict close races like that.
I hope Trump can flip MN, or at least keep it close.
If he tries that in 2024 suddenly there won't be any more windows.

Looking at that map, the issue has been the suburbs - specifically counties like Carver, Scott and Anoka. They are GOP-leaning suburbs but are full of soccer moms who hate mean tweets.
If Trump can raise his numbers in those counties (as well as Dakota and Washington - both blue suburbs), he stands a good chance.
