The obvious take is that Gantz is right of Netanyahu and believes that Netanyahu is caving to Biden too much. Ever since Oct 7th, Gantz has always wanted the IDF to go after HAMAS with more ferocity than Netanyhu.
I don't know why anyone would think Gantz is a Biden plant.

Ganz himself, in all other issues, is left wing. His sole claim to the right is his bellicosity against Hamas. But where was that bellicosity on October 7.
