Unless they’re able to PROVE otherwise, it’s a given that ALL big companies will do whatever the feds tell them, legal or not. Twitter is the one exception, but not because of what they claim, but rather because they seem to engage in very little censorship, plus they outed the feds giving them orders.
I have a different take on this. Apple may not unlock stuff in response to court orders at the corporate level, but individual employees may "help out" a new friend who has gifted him a large amount of money.
The would be less public and have far less chance of hitting the news than other ways...
