Defying the U.S., the Russian Navy will deploy one of its modern Yasen-M nuclear submarines in the Caribbean Sea

The presence of the nuclear-powered submarine, along with a frigate and two support vessels, is part of an upcoming visit to the port of Havana aimed at strengthening the friendship between Cuba and the Russian Federation.

As tension in Europe increases due to the escalation of the Russo-Ukrainian conflict, the Russian Navy will deploy a flotilla in the Caribbean Sea in the coming days as part of an official visit to Cuba; which can be seen as a challenge to the United States government. The information released by the Cuban government yesterday, June 6, gains relevance as this flotilla is led by the nuclear-powered attack submarine Kazan (K-561), accompanied by the missile frigate Admiral Gorshkov and support vessels.

That lowly frigate with the Zircons is capable of sinking aircraft carriers attempting to exit Norfolk.

Dr. Jill thinks a war with Russia will keep her in the White House, so naturally Joe will keep escalating until it happens.

“This will not please the Zeepers posting out of DC. DC was supposed to be far enough from the front.”

But, based on their ‘rationale’, Russia (and China) have EVERY RIGHT to set up bases and nukes in Cuba, Mexico, or wherever else they’re able to overthrow the government and install one that invites them in. Oh yeah, almost forgot about KGB (now FSB) and Drug Labs in those countries.

Putin could get away with nukes in Cuba with Biden and his handlers in power.

What if the Russians decide some Cuban military airfield needs a longer, more nuclear age runway? You know, like ones NATO keeps trying to build in Ukraine?

Russia is as popular with the Europeans as the Palestinians are with the other Arabs.
So they need to buy off a few friends don’t know them and who has a bone to pick with the US. What’s wrong with that? It’s not our money they’re using. Belarus is their friends as well as Iran. They can have Vlad.

The Russian Navy has run ships and subs through the Caribbean for the past 60 years or so…probably longer.

You guys seem to think this scares the US.

The only thing I am sure of is that it’s taking the Russian Navy less time to get to Havana than it’s taken the Russian Army to reach Kiev. And its a lot safer than leaving from the Black Sea.

” Russia is as popular with the Europeans as the Palestinians are with the other Arabs. “

Americans are always delusional about how everyone loves them.

When you blow up their pipeline and make their Governments pretend you didn’t, while everyone knows that you did.

And then you expect them to still be a loyal and grateful allies. 🙃
