Rickards is bright and worth hearing as to money and economics, but he is not a military expert. His reasoning is categorical and conclusory and conveys little sense of how wars are conducted, let alone how Russia’s attack on Ukraine is doing. And, to make what ought to be an obvious point, Russia’s dire threats to use nuclear weapons are a good indication that the war on Ukraine is not going well for Russia.
Me too. If these Moscowphiles get their way, who's going to take in the million or two refugees from Ukraine? Or will we just force them to stay there and suffer because they're an educated, cultured people and not third world animals.
