I am a former Canadian who is now a productive conservative American. I think conservatism is more common when the immigrant is legal, was already productive in Canada, and just wants to be more productive in the USA.
How I see Canada is there is one in 2 Canadians who are basically socialist. In Quebec that would be 2 to 1.
