When? In 2032?

When? In 2032? From what I've heard, in a few months it will go through the first appellate level in New York, were it is likely to be upheld by elected judges. Next step is the New York Appellate Court, the highest court in New York State, where it is considered 50-50. Then on to SCOTUS, where is will almost certainly be overturned, if it gets that far, perhaps 9-0. Trump could ask for an expedited SCOTUS ruling, but politically having that denied would be a political win for Biden. SCOTUS is supposed to be apolitical, and generally defer to state courts in matters of state laws, but this is certainly a case with national implications, and Trump's constitutional rights were clearly trampled upon.

I believe that SCOTUS could act sua sponte, that is on its own initiative, and take up the case without any action on Trump's behalf, but that would make the court appear to be acting politically, so they would likely refrain.
