I can see neighborhood militias forming in the future because of this crap.
Quite unlikely, because the same enforcers of the police state that can't do a THING about gangs and ferals will come down on any citizens militia like a 2 ton anvil. They will intimidate, harass, jail and even kill anyone who participates.
