I hope it means something.
I have a theory that Vivek was Trump’s VP plan a long time ago, and that the only reason for Vivek’s presidential run was to get him out there, get him known and liked, and then bow out at the first opportunity. It felt like a faux presidential run, and he bowed out so quickly, and didn’t seem terribly disappointed....it just made me suspicious.
I also noted that Vivek basically stood in for Trump at the debates. I called him Proxy Trump. He spoke beautifully and made the others look like the typical politicians that they were. Trump and Vivek did not attack each other, except a little ruse of a dust-up at the end.
One thing that really made me wonder was when I saw Lara Trump interview Vivek a few months back. She was very friendly and happy to talk to him, and as an introduction she laughingly pointed out that she was the one who knew Vivek first, a few years ago, and it was her that introduced him into the Trump family, and they are now all friends.
Well, if Vivek was a friend of the Trump family a couple of years ago, would not his run to primary Trump be seen as a bit of a slight against the president? No mention was ever made of this other than Lara’s remarks. I thought that was odd. However, if President Trump has known Vivek for a few years and wanted him as VP, how silly would it look for him to choose a virtual unknown as a VP? Yet, if Vivek were to actually run for president himself, he’d be well known and well liked.
I still hope it’s Vivek - and suspect it has been all along.
